Lee Williams grew up in Whales, has doctorate degrees in Geology and Geography (and Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathmematics) and was the Dean of the Graduate College at the University of Oklahoma.

Lee is actually the person who came up the idea to name our church The Seeker Church.

"I was totally turned off to Church as a teenager and used my status as a Scientist to avoid even considering it for the next 30 years.
After all, if God is so great, how come He demands that I follow blindly and without question, which is what most churches appeared to be telling me (do it My Way without question or you'll go to HELL).  Heck, I was a Scientist and was trained to challenge ideas and only believe in what can be proven.
But there was a hole in my existence that didn't feel good.  I started going to Russ' church at the suggestion of my wife and after we'd had a rough patch. Wow, I found a place that even if you weren't a Christian actually said stuff that made sense and was relevant to living your life, unlike my earlier experiences where I was convinced the goal was to bore me to sleep with words that didn't make sense.
So, I continued to go to church and found that God does not demand that you give up your free will, but instead let's you make your own decision of faith.  Russ walked with me on that path and I found God.
I am still a Scientist but am now also a man of faith, and am comfortable that these are not inconsistent."
Brian Twomey is a renaissance man - High School MNTC Pre-Engineering Instructor, guitar player, bike enthusiast (both with motors and without) , husband and father.

"Finding God was the last thing on my mind when I came to the Seeker Church.  One of the band's guitarists had injured his playing hand, and they needed someone to fill in for him at the last minute.  My ex-girlfriend called and asked if I'd be interested.  I accepted, not because I felt a calling to serve God, but because I relished the idea of playing with a band again!

Anyhow, the straightforward, no-nonsense Bible messages and humor at the Seeker Church gave me a nonthreatening place to be, and eventually I came to believe.  Russ is the man."
